Caminito Argentinean Steakhouse

The secret to Caminito’s success, explains Valley-born chef-owner Joseph Gionfriddo, is keeping it simple and letting the wood-fired flavor of a juicy steak speak for itself. “We try to live by the philosophy that if our customers know us for smoky steaks, rich red wines, and a relaxed South American dining experience, we have done our jobs,” he says. This summer, Gionfriddo is excited to debut some wine-inspired cocktails like the “tincho,” which includes an effervescent, slightly sweet white wine served over ice with a squeeze of lime and fresh mint — perfect for early-evening al fresco dining on the restaurant’s terrace.
